Dr Renee Mitchell is a native of Silverdale. She is passionate about providing a quality medical service for our community. Renee studied her medical degree at Griffith University, after a career in IT. She completed an extended rural generalist term in Oakey, QLD, before internship and residency at Blacktown/Mount Druitt. She strengthened her experience with terms at Westmead and Westmead Children's Hospital. Renee holds a Diploma in Children's Health and a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She subspecialises in Paediatrics, Women's Health and Mental Health. Renee never stops talking about her 2 kids, Ava and James.
MBBS (Hons 1), DCH, FPAA Certificate of Reproductive & Sexual Health, FRACGP
Dr Kate Watson graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2012 with an MBBS (Hons 1) and was also honoured to be awarded the UNSW David de Carle and John Edmonds Prizes for Medicine. She completed her hospital training at Concord and Canterbury Hospitals prior to gaining her fellowship in General Practice. Dr Watson has also completed a Diploma of Child Health and has undertaken the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health. She is accredited to insert and remove Implanon contraceptive devices.
Dr Watson thoroughly enjoys the diversity of General Practice and strives to build positive relationships with all her patients. She is particularly interested in preventative medicine, women’s & children’s health, and sexual health. Dr Watson is also developing skills in dermatology and is working towards the RACGP Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology.
Outside of work Dr Watson enjoys nothing more than spending time with her young daughter, reading widely, and planning her next travel adventure!
BMED MD MMED (CLIN EPI)
Dr Elton Lin is a Registrar with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Elton completed his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales and his Masters in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) at the University of Sydney.
He has worked with Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, in radiation oncology at Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and in a busy emergency department at Austin Hospital in Melbourne. Elton has practiced in GP clinics in Campsie and Dubbo.
In his spare time, Dr Elton enjoys cycling, cooking and coffee!
